Salem Cottage Accommodation
Salem Cottage Accommodation
Salem is a small 150 year old stone cottage within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, 1.5 miles from Strumble Head. The cottage faces the coast with stunning sea views from every room. The accommodation has recently been completely refurbished and, with new double glazing and loft insulation, is very comfortable and ideal for birdwatchers walkers, and families with children and pets.
There is a cosy sitting room with a cast iron stove and glorious views. The sun room is a perfect sun-trap, even in the cooler days of autumn and spring, and the courtyard is an ideal place for outdoor meals at the picnic table.
Bedrooms
Salem cottage accommodates four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin.
The open beamed twin bedroom offers the warm colours of traditionally woven bedspreads from the local Tregwynt Mill.
Complementing its stunning views, golden, earthy colours characterise the double bedroom with another all wool Tregwynt Mill bedspread.
Kitchen
The comfortable kitchen-dining area has a fridge, electric cooker and microwave with dining area. The original ladder/staircase from the kitchen leads to a ‘crogloft’, a secret hideaway in which to relax, and two additional small children can be accommodated here by special request.
All Mod Cons
The bathroom has both bath and pressure shower. Salem has all the mod cons you’ll need, including free Wi-Fi, but no TV or mobile reception — we’ve kept it that way for those who want a rest from the pressures of modern life! Parking is available on both sides of house.
